Roasted Pumpkin Soup

Bahan-bahan

  • 500g Labu, potong kepingan
  • 2 sudu besar Minyak masak
  • 1 sudu besar Mentega
  • 1 biji Bawang holland, dicincang
  • 2 ulas Bawang putih
  • 3 sudu besar Serbuk stok ayam
  • 1L Air
  • 1 helai Daun salam
  • ½ sudu teh Serbuk cayenne
  • ½ sudu teh Daun thyme kering
  • ¼ sudu teh Garam
  • 1 sudu teh Gula
  • ½ sudu teh Serbuk lada hitam
  • 1 tin Susu Isian Sejat F&N BUY

Langkah-langkah

  • STEP 1 of 4 Panaskan ketuhar 200C, lapiskan labu dengan minyak masak. Panggang labu selama 20-35 minit. Cucuk garpu untuk memastikan kelembutan, kalau mudah dicucuk, dikeluarkan dari ketuhar, dan ketepikan
  • STEP 2 of 4 Sediakan periuk, panas dengan api sederhana, masukkan mentega dan tumis bawang kuning, bawang putih sehingga aromatik. Masukkan air, labu panggang, serbuk ayam, daun salam, serbuk cayenne, lada hitam, garam dan gula. Didihkan, dan biarkan mendidih selama 5 minit
  • STEP 3 of 4 Keluarkan daun salam dan kisar sup di dalam pengisar sehingga rata.
  • STEP 4 of 4 Masukkan kembali ke dalam periuk, Tuangkan Susu Isian Sejat F&N dan daun thyme, didihkan dan siap dihidang.

  • 500g Pumpkin, cut into slices
  • 2 tbsp Cooking oil
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1 no Yellow onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 3 tbsp Chicken stock powder
  • 1L Water
  • 1 no Bay leaf
  • ½ tsp Cayenne powder
  • ½ tsp Dried thyme
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • ½ tsp Black pepper powder
  • 1 can F&N Evaporated Filled Milk BUY

Directions

  • STEP 1 of 4 Pre-heat the oven 200C, coat the pumpkin with cooking oil. Roast the pumpkin for 20-35 minutes, depending on thickness. Insert the fork to check the doneness, once easily pierced, removed from oven, and set aside
  • STEP 2 of 4 In a pot with medium heat, add in butter and sauté yellow onion, garlic until aromatic. Add in water, roasted pumpkin, chicken stock powder, bay leaf, cayenne powder, black pepper, salt and sugar. Bring it to a boil, and let it simmer for 5 minutes
  • STEP 3 of 4 Remove the bay leaf and blend the soup in a blender until smooth.
  • STEP 4 of 4 Add back into the pot, add in F&N Evaporated Filed Milk and thyme, bring it to boil and ready to serve
