Bahan-bahan

  • 500g Mee kuning
  • 1kg Udang
  • 3 sudu besar Minyak masak
  • 2L Air
  • 500g Keledek, dikukus,dan dihancur
  • 50g Gula Perang
  • 2 sudu besar Tepung jagung
  • 1 sudu kecil Garam
  • 1 sudu besar Gula
  • ½ tin Susu Isian Sejat F&N
  • Bahan Rempah
  • ½ cawan Minyak masak
  • 3 batang Serai
  • 5 biji Bawang kecil
  • 4 ulas Bawang putih
  • 2 inci Halia
  • 2 inci Lengkuas
  • 4 biji Cili merah
  • Bahan Hiasan
  • ¼ cawan / hidangan Tauge, direbus
  • 2 sb/ hidangan Bawang goreng
  • 1 biji/ hidangan Telur rebus, dipotong setengah
  • ¼ keping/ hidangan Tauhu, digoreng potong keping
  • 2 baji / hidangan Limau, potong baji

Langkah-langkah

  • STEP 1 of 5 Kisar semua bahan rempah menjadi pes.
  • STEP 2 of 5 Untuk menyediakan stok udang. Kupas kulit udang, goreng kulit dan daging udang dengan minyak masak sehingga wangi. Keluarkan daging udang, Masukkan air dan biarkan mendidih selama 30 minit. Tapiskan stok dan ketepikan.
  • STEP 3 of 5 Untuk menyediakan sos untuk mee jawa. Dalam periuk, tumiskan rempah sehingga wangi atau sedikit pecah dari minyak. Masukkan stok udang, keledek, tepung jagung, garam dan gula, dan didihkan.
  • STEP 4 of 5 Masukan Susu Isian Sejat F&N, dan didihkan
  • STEP 5 of 5 Sediakan mee jawa dengan masukkan mi kuning, dan sos ke dalam mangkuk. Akhir sekali hidangkan dengan semua bahan hiasan

Ingredients

  • 500g Yellow noodles, cooked
  • 1kg Prawns
  • 3 tbsp Cooking oil
  • 2L Water
  • 500g Sweet potato, boiled and mashed
  • 50g Brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • ½ can F&N Evaporated Filled Milk
  • Spice
  • ½ cup Cooking oil
  • 3 stalks Lemon grass
  • 5 pcs Shallots
  • 4 cloves Garlic
  • 2 inch Ginger
  • 2 inch Galangal
  • 4 pcs Red chilis
  • Toppings
  • ¼ cup/ serving Bean sprout, blanch
  • 2 tbsp / serving Fried shallots crisp
  • 1 pcs/ serving Hardboiled eggs, halved
  • ¼ pcs/ serving Hard tofu, fried, slice
  • 2 wedges / serving Lime, cut to wedges

Directions

  • STEP 1 of 5 Blend all the spices into paste.
  • STEP 2 of 5 To prepare prawn stock. Peel the prawn shell, fry the prawn shell and prawn meat with cooking oil until fragrant. Dish out the prawn meat and set aside, add in water and bring to a boil, leave it to simmer for 30 minutes. Strain and reserve the stock and set aside.
  • STEP 3 of 5 To prepare the sauce for mee jawa. In a separate pot, saute the spices until fragrant or slightly splits from oil. Add in the prawn stock, sweet potato, corn starch, salt and sugar, and bring to a boil.
  • STEP 4 of 5 Swirl in F&N Evaporated Filled Milk, and bring it to a boil
  • STEP 5 of 5 Setup the mee jawa by adding yellow noodles, and the sauces in a bowl. Lastly serve with all the toppings
